Nano Biomedicine and Engineering (Nano Biomed Eng) is an open access, international, peer-reviewed journal. Each quarterly issue of Nano Biomed Eng presents basic, clinical, and engineering research in the interdisciplinary field of Nanotechnology, Biology, Medicine and Engineering.

Nano Biomed Eng is not just another open-access journal. The rise of the open-access publishing model, benefits from its scientific contents freely accessible via the Internet for immediate worldwide, but suffers from leaving authors to bear the cost of publication. Nano Biomed Eng goes one step further -- authors' acceptance of publication charges for their papers is voluntary. It become possible through extensive volunteerism and sponsorships.
