Each quarterly issue of Nano Biomed. Eng. presents basic, clinical, and engineering research in the interdisciplinary field of Nanotechnology, Biology, Medicine and Engineering.
Nano Biomed. Eng. is not just another open-access journal,and also offers very rapid review and production times --at most 4 weeks from submission to acceptance. Accepted articles will appear online rapidly. The rise of the open-access publishing model, benefits from its scientific contents freely accessible via the Internet for immediate worldwide, but suffers from leaving authors to bear the cost of publication. Nano Biomed Eng goes one step further -- publication charges for their accepted papers is free. It become possible through extensive volunteerism and sponsorships.
